    I may have found a deal on this CD player for $275obo. Does this player has the "random" mode?

      yes, but the RNG algorythm Rotel uses is not very good i myopinion. It may play 3 songs from a CD before changing to another. My H-K (FL8450?) I had would change CDs after each song.
