Should have gotten the bullit-proof RB-1070. Seriously, sorry to hear about your problem. Unless you can prove you are the original owner you may have to pony up the $$ yourself. Sounds like it requires a total check-up by Rotel. This is one reason why I have not bought a used RB-1080 yet.Last edited by miner; 25 January 2006, 11:22 Wednesday.- Bottom

How sure are you that the distortion was not in the recording. (Play the song on another system or car etc.) I had a similar problem which proved to be the recording.
And that wav file distorts nicely on my crap computer speakers for what its worth.- Bottom
