    RSX1055 Component video Red and Green came off from back panel

    What the heck happend here? Is this a common issue. I'm using Tara labs cables and the input jack from the back panel came off while removing cables. :evil:

    The first run 1055's and 1065's had bad component video boards that would do that with extremely tight video cables. They switched designs and the problem was fixed (this is also the time the component video boards went to the 100mhz bandwidth for HD).

    Since this is a known issue, Rotel should fix it even if you are not the original owner. If the ends are not damaged, you should be able to push them back into the unit and it *should* still work. I would advise not moving those cables around too much until you can get it fixed.
