    1068 problem - power standby/on

I've had my 1068 for about a month now. I leave the master power switch on the back on at all times. But several times when using the remote to switch from standby to ON the blue/violet light goes OFF and nothing else happens (the display stays blank) and repeatedly pressing the standby button on the front has no effect. I have to physically turn the master power switch at the back off and then on again to reset the unit. This has only happened three times in about 5 weeks but does anybody know what might be the cause. Thanks.

    BTW Software version is 1.2.2

Don’t want to fright you, but I had the same problem with my RSP-1066 and one day it didn’t power up, the main processor board broke.

    Just look at

there are same procedures you can take to diagnose better your problem.

Or simply your setup makes the unit goes to standby mode after a power up.
