Buzz, does the AV32R not have DTS ES? Is this to be upgradable at a latter date?

Bing, the AV32R supports THX EX, which DTS has "borrowed" from THX in the form of DTS ES (matrix), so both 6.1 (and subsequent 7.1) formats are immediately available on the current software revision. DTS ES discrete is DTS's own product and will be available soon as a software upgrade, as far as I know. (I am not a spokesman for Tag McLaren, so please don't take my word as Gospel ) Even more exciting will be the release of Dolby Pro Logic II, which I believe will be available around the same time. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a release sometime around the end of February, but it is purely speculation at this point.

We are currently looking at about 70 days for PL II and another 30 or so after that for the other DTS modes. Obviously there is a little larger library of material that PLII can be used on
        I'm VERY excited by it.

          What CD player with AV32R?
          by PhilS
I am awaiting delivery of my AV32R, which should be here anyday. Can't wait. I was initially considering using the Sony ES9000 for CD and DVD play, but it turns out that I might not need a progressive DVD player with the projector I am considering. So, now I am thinking about using a fairly inexpensive...
