Got my first Rotel, a turntable with an Empire cartridge, in 1974, in Charlottesville, Va. I was 18, a 2nd year in college. Needed it to mate it with a Sherwood 10w@ch receiver driving a pair of home made speakers with Utah 8" coaxial drivers. Sounded great. 8)

Wow, we got a nice variety here. That's very cool. I am surprised there are so many twentysomethins. And some of you got started with Rotel pretty darn early. 8O I was still in the clutches of a certain Japanese conglomerate-Sony-until last year!
