I just feel like saying that the current series has some of the best-looking components around. I feel quite lucky to have been in the market after these components came out. No offense to owners of previous Rotel gear, but the aesthetics of the older models lack the pizzazz of the current ones. I wonder how long Rotel will keep this look before moving on to the next look.

I agree will. I am just now starting to get my Audio rack filled with Rotel. I hope they keep this look for a while, and I'm sure a lot of people agree.
If they do change the look before I finish buying, I'll be looking on Audiogon or ebay for used gear, as I want it all to pretty much look alike. Presentation is part of the hobby right? :LOL:

Yep...silver components have been getting more and more popular, but the Rotel gear has it nailed. The "flat" finish I think is what really sets them apart. VERY nice look.

Agreed here too. Wouldn't have thought it would matter that much to me, but they have a stately, elegant look that is very handsome.

Nice thread you started. Rotel gear looks and sounds so good I can't stop buying them. Now if they only made a projector then my next purchase would be a Rotel as well.

You betcha... I like to think looks are irrelevant for audio gear, but Rotel hit a homer with the styling of the 1000 series (black for me, please!)... heck, I even like the no-nonsense look of the 900 series for that matter.
Nothing looks better at the price point... but the beauty pageant is won by Simaudio Moon..

What makes it also beautiful, it’s the fact that it’s real metal finish (aluminum it is?), not some colored plastic!
When I saw the new RDV-1060 having the same face (silver plate, display, buttons, and the two big black aluminum handles on each side!!) of my RSX-1055, I sad that it would look quite nice one on top of each other (with space for venting of course!)!…

I like the sound - and especially the look and feel of the Delta series components. However since Classe only have a limited product selection I am now wondering if anybody have any ideas on how to complement with other products that have a similar look and feel
