Does anybody know exactly what the RVE will be able to do? upconvert/downconvert between video/svideo/component? what about RGB in europe? what about DVI (HDCMP or not)? VGA? HDMI?Originally posted by csuzor
Santiago, don't wait, just get the 1068, which you will need for great audio anyway, and then only get the RVE in the future if you need the extra video capability. The 1068 meets most user's video requirements today. -

Sound like exactly what I need for my plasmas - The Crystalio alternative is fine but pricey ... and won't match exiting kit.

I just noticed the RVE-1060 (including manual) is now on the Rotel web site. Looks like they're using a Faroudja chip instead of the NS ASIC the 1070 was based on.
