    Looking to buy 100 V2 and rotel 1072

    I had bought in 1984 Perraux amp 2150B and pre amp SM2

    with NAk decks and CD player and ADS 1290 speakers. I need new speakers and am looking to buy a perfect cherry wood 100 V2, need a new cd so saw the 1072 at the audio shop. he knows what I have and said this 1072 or the Linn Genki i am thinking of( too much for me tho)
    please..any thoughts on if the speaker choice and cd player choice are good.
    any ideas plse let me know. I was out of this audiophile world for the last 20 years.
    also need cables and inter connects.

      I was originally planning on getting a Rotel RCD-1072 cd player for my system, as it looked like a good entry-level player to go.

      My system is comprised of a Marantz SR-5400 receiver, Paradigm Studio 20s, and Paradigm Seismic 10. The Rotel seems to fit in pretty well.

      I own a Harmony Remote 768 and Sony NS-900V DVD/SACD player.
      The Harmony Remote doesn't appear to be sending the signals to the DVD player quick enough. Thus, when I skip tracks, etc I always get a tiny clip of each track.
