    Speakers Upgraded

Well at last I have done it; replaced my front speakers (Bose 901) with Subsonic Orpheus speakers and man what a difference. The sound is now clean and crisp and I really appreciate the Rotel RSP1098 even more. I am hearing things I never heard before. Sonically spectacular in both stereo and five channel surround.

I think my system is now complete - but wait whats that you say there's a new Digital TV PVR on the market...............

    Trevor,

You have been bitten by the upgraditis bug, which shows technology as a perpetual process, it never ends.

I went to Doctor HT and he provided a vaccination  however, I am unsure of it's duration.

BTW, congratulations on your new speaker purchase.

    Regards,

    Azeke

      Orpheus speakers anyone heard them?
      by bleeding ears
Hi guys, I would like to hear from anyone that has heard the Australian made Orpheus speakers, particularly the Aurora 3's.

These are probably not very well known outside of Oz and are not widely marketed from what I can tell.

They use quality components and get great reviews....

      by ac81017
First all, I would like to say that I´m not much of an expert when it comes to hifi and stereo. And I was looking for reviews on a certain speaker which turned out to not everybodys favorite!! ops: Anyway I swapped my b&w 602s3 for a pair of Bose 901 series 6! I´m guessing it was an exellent...

      Hooking up Integra 8.4 w/Bose 901
      by prm
The Bose 901 speakers (Series VI) use an equalizer that I am having trouble hooking up to my Integra DTR 8.4 receiver. The equalizer uses "Tape" input but all combinations were unsuccessful. Tries Pre-Amp, etc. Does anybody have experience with this??? Hard to believe that the unit cannot...

      Rotel 1092 and Bose 901
      by yanies
      Hi

I have the RB 1080 and I am planning to purchase the RB 1092
The Bose 901 are 450 WPC
and the RB 1092 is 500WPC

Is it safe for this kind of change regarding the Watts?
I mean 500 WPC are too much for the Bose 901?
      Or its ok ?

a simple question for 901 users
      by SubSonic
Hello, for those who own and use the Bose 901 speakers, im wondering if there are high frequencies coming out of the reflectant speakers- as in the 8 drivers facing the back/side walls. or are the high frequences coming only out of the direct and single driver in the front? All series welcome. I do...
