I am just wondering how often most members change the battery on their RR969. I have this remote since the end of December and it is on its third set of AAAs already! The batteries on my TV, VCR, DVD remotes usually does not require changing for over a year or even two. I still use the other remotes regularly; so the 969 has not replace completely the others.

I have had mine for 6 months and on the second set. I found it does use them up quite quickly so I have reduced the usage of the remote and try to use the ones that came with the equipment when not actually using the 1066.Comment

It seems like they last about 6 months with normal use. I wish there was a way to disable the auto-light feature as that's what sucks up the batteries.

When we have recently experienced a number of power bloackouts in our area, all the saved user information on my RSP-1066 is lost. I assume this is a result of the internal battery that allows the system to hold the setting in its memery has failed.
Has anybody replaced this battery.... -
Every night I charge my phone and start out with it at 100%
With equal usage (Which is minimal), I can do the whole day and still be left with a 65-75% charge by the time I go to bed. Other days, I get a low battery warning at 4pm and it dies !!??

I recently tried to identify what specific classé equipment a couple of older classé remotes were originally used with.
