I have a 1056,sittin' on a shelf,it buzzes even when its off.You can turn it on and the buzz don't change.You can lay your hand on it and feel vibration and it stays warm even when its been off for days.Has anyone else had or have this problem?

You could be hearing the transformer buzzing. I would have it checked for sure though. Mine is silent.

i know its the power amp because if i turn the power amp on it buzzes then if i turn the pre amp off , it stills buzzes.
what could this be? it is a relativity soft buzz but still anoying

by Marki have a brand new 1066 pro with a nasty buzz at volume levels above number 65 [as it reads on the display.] it buzzes only when using the multi input. it's not a ground loop as it vanishes when i hit the mute button...
i thought it might be the sacd/dvd player...a sony 999es. went out today...-

When we plug in the cable vision from a cheap vcr through composite (yes somposite) it buzzes...big time...through the sub! :E

by w6000I had a buzz from the tweeter's on my 5.1 setup- Rotel 1098/1075. The cause of the Buzz was dimmer switches on the same circut as the 1098. But the Buzz was also present when dimmer switches on other circuts were active. Now here is the interesting part. I only get the Buzz when i am using the 1098...-
