UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ (9-10-03) -- Integra has introduced the new DPC-7.4 six-disc DVD changer, featuring Integra's exclusive Direct Progressive technology, improved 54 MHz/10-bit video processing, and true multi-disc random playback, even with MP3 and WMA-encoded discs. The player features superior audio and video performance, a broad array of custom installation capabilities, and an ultra-quiet six-disc carousel tray with a unique blue illumination light and reflective disc labels for easier disc recognition in low-light situations.
Like all Integra products, the DPC-7.4 was designed with the needs of custom installers in mind. It features both RCA and professional grade BNC component video outputs for compatibility with the most advanced TV and front projection home theater displays, as well as rear-panel bidirectional RS-232 port and IR in/out jacks for seamless integration with home theater equipment and whole-home control systems. In addition to the progressive Component Video outputs, there are two rear-panel S-Video and two Composite Video jacks, and all video outputs are always active, allowing simultaneous use of more than one display device.
The DPC-7.4 features 192 kHz/24-bit linear PCM audio DACs coupled with the company's exclusive Vector Linear Shaping Circuit (VLSC) for smoother and more linear analog audio output. It is compatible with both MP3 and WMA encoded CD-R/RWs, with ID3 tag display. The unit is also compatible with DVD-R/RW, CD, VCD, CD-R/RW, and JPEG image CDs. Integra's Direct Digital Path provides a streamlined path to the coaxial digital output jack for maximum audio fidelity.
The Integra DPC-7.4 is currently available at a suggested retail price of $500.
