Can any posters give me any information on the DTR-4.5? Does the DTR-4.5 have lip synch delay? I can't tell from the Integra website. Is the sound quality good? Any comments? Anyone? Anyone?

Although, for a "budget priced" unit (about $500 USD), the DTR-4.5 has a number of features that were once considered fairly "advanced", such as built-in IR repeating system, powered 2nd zone, "automatic" speaker setup, conversion of composite to S-Video, etcetera, lip synch delay doesn't appear to be one of them. Integra had to save something for the higher level models besides a higher price tag. You'll need to judge the DTR-4.5's sound quality for yourself, but so far, I haven't heard a BAD sounding Integra amplifier/reciever.

I am not much interested in video upconversion, since I plan on running HDMI directly to the hdtv. I am really looking for a top quality 5.1 receiver / amplification - but separates are out of the question. And I am interested in lip synch delay. I am leaning toward the Rotel 1056. I have owned an SSP-300 for about a month and really love the sound. However, for some reason I cannot get the video and sound to match. Just got the RSP1068 in UK and took me not more than 1 hour to setup and plug it all in. Very easy to use and has substantial additional functionality over the 1066 that is practically usefull and they should be complimented on not just adding gimmicks all over the shop.

I always noticed a audio delay when using my rsp 1066 and also having the audio coming from the tv when watching HD programming. The 1066 was always a little ahead of the tv but this was easily fixed... -
