please welcome Scarp in addition to Chris

We'd actually been considering Scarp for Club Rotel moderatorship. But since he jumped ship, that plan was awash. However, since he's now a Halo user, we are sure as it already shows, his participation and enthusiasm for the brand will follow.

As most of you know, Chris sometimes isn't around as we discussed even before Chris became Mod, so Scarp will be able to take up slack during those times. As well, Scarp is on a different time zone than most of us, so even when both are here, their participation will likely be at different times mostly.

So, please join me in welcoming Scarp!

My first instinct is to go for the photo op with the two moderators shaking hands, cigars in mouth and a brandy in the other hand. Rather hard to do, though, with us being 9 time zones away. I'll see if I have a bit of time the next time I'm in Europe, as I go about once a month or so. I think Scarp will be good for us!

Not goldfinger, but goldmember was dutch. However his accent was more scandinavian than dutch. Also nobody walks around on gold clogs :P

                  My participation....
                  by Andrew Pratt
I just wanted to let you all know that my wife's due very soon which means that my "spare" time that I can devote to Club Rotel is about to drop...at least for a little while. Now that the club's got a very strong and mature membership I'm positive things will continue to move along smoothly....

I'll hold on to the name that I'm going to use for my theater until it's complete.

I'm posting some pictures and info about my theater construction at the request of others here on the Guide. I thought someone might be interested to see this stuff. If you'd like to hear more, I'm showing...

                  Hello all!
I will now finally be getting to painting and decorating the living room of mine.
Moved into this house about 5 months ago, and with winter upon me here in good ol Minnesota, I need something to do.

So with that, the following quick pics show my room, I spend...

Can I get the benefits of balanced power with a pair of these transformers?
                  by cdwitmer
I have located a supply of cheap 2kVA transformers that have single 100V primaries and dual (bifilar wound) 24V secondaries. (Each of the secondaries is indicated as 42A.) I know I could tie two of these back-to-back to create a 1:1 2kVA isolation transformer, but I am wondering if there is a way I...
