I stumbled across this from another d.i.y. car audio site,
and thought to myself...

why not, for the price, it is worth playing with...

So here is my situation.

this is one option...
~ my trucks amp is dead
(so this amp could tied me over for a bit)
~ I already have 2x 150w HT buyout amps
(could use these woofers with 'em In HT use)

this is another option...
~ the amp & 1/both sub/s for the girls jeep
(would require me to buy her another head unit though) :roll:

So, I am leaning to the first option...
however, I have no idea what the Ts parameters are, hopefully they will be included when I receive them(if not can anyone point in a direction to find them(google isn't working out well here)...

I know they're of low quality(and don't expect much at all from them)
but all I have now is one ten inch woofer/powered by the buyout amp mentioned above In my HT Now. Surely 2x 12 inch woofers will move more air, Yes?

I can build 1 box/2, any size(well almost any size... :T ) downward/forward firing
My room is about 14x16 that opens to a hallway, and eat in kitchen

any idea's ?

Since we're not a car audio forum I'm not sure why this thread was posted.

I'm told this is a thread about HT, though there are no references to such in the original post. I'll unlock the thread and remove this post if this is the case.

Yeah, its not clear that you're thinking about using them in the house. I guess the easiest thing to do with them is to build a big sealed box and see happens. For ported, you would need the T/S. You could always invest in a woofe tester.


(and off topic, but if I had a car audio problem I would probably also post it here first, since you guys are what I consider friends and may be able to help out. I would much rather do this then go to some forum where I didn't know anyone or the local falvor and post. if I didn't get any response, then I would wander the internet. But of course I would hate to see every tom, dick and harry posting car audio crap and turning this into a car forum. So in that respect, I appreciate Thomas's moderation efforts.)

I Agree completely...

Its has been upside down getting ready for everyone to come over. so, I just threw together the post, didn't really think about how it translated.
I do hope the Ts parameters are included.
this is defintly going to be TRIED as an HT sub(even if it is a bedroom/pc)
and If not capable then Car audio is the next option...

Everything arrived today, speakers look good for the price.
no Ts parameters Of course & the Amp is Toast.
Going to have to send it back(hopefully Just the amp).
