I decided to play Santa to myself this Xmas and ordered a Halo A21 to replace my latest buggy A23 (hot one side while cold on the other). The A21 will be used on my front L&R Klipsch RF35's and my A52 will power the RC35 center and RB 3 sides and rears. I'm hoping it will arrive this coming week. Did anyone else here get new Parasound gear for Xmas? Cheers.

wow, nice toy! Im ordering the A51 myself , probably tomorrow. I thought someone would jump at the A52 Im selling, hasnt happened thus far.

Right... That's why my motto is to buy the top of the line model right away. When it comes to the main speakers, I tried to settle for the MG3.6 Maggies ($4,375), but sure enough, I will be trading them in for the MG20.1 ($11,995). Fortunately my Magnepan dealer, Audio Advice in Raleigh, has a one year upgrade window that lets me trade up my speakers for the full price I paid.Originally posted by SpOoNmAn

Well, it's a year later and I did it again! Got myself a new P3 for a Christmas present to myself. Have it paired with the A21 and Klipsch speakers in a dedicated two channel stereo setup. Am thinking about changing speakers next and plan on auditioning as many as I can over the coming weeks, I am leaning towards a small bookshelf monitor instead of towers. Anybody else add more Halo gear for Christmas? Cheers.Comment

Wow, talk about resurrection of an old thread! What happened in 2005? Yes, I did get the MG20.1s. However, instead of trading in the 3.6s, I traded in the CC3s that I used as surrounds in late '04. The MG3.6s now serve as surrounds.
As a christmas gift for myself, I ordered a 2nd Martin Logan Descent subwoofer from Brent. :T

Finally, I blindly jumped in to Halo bandwagon and bought Halo 21 amp just before Christmas, got it delivered on that weekend. Had good time canoodling on the new Year weekend.
As far as my Halo story, the saga continues with buying C2, hopefully I get it in hands sometime next week.
This seems to be a great forum to run to for all the problems/learning and I will do exactly that!.
