    FPM Home theater question

We are installing our first home theater system and I am dealing with a spouse that is a designer (and opinionated!!). I have listened to various B&W speakers and like the sound. We are going to mount a 50" plasma over the fireplace (not too hot). I want to get floor speakers (probably 700 series) for the fronts. We would likely do an inwall center speaker and ceiling rears. My wife saw the FPM series and liked their esthetics. I think they are a little too bright and relatively expensive. We are new aspiring audiophiles and expect to "grow" into the sytem over time. My question...will the FPM's as fronts wear well over time? any other suggestions welcome!!

    Thanks!!

First let me say thank you for this forum. I have really learned a lot reading everyones posts.
It has all been ordered with a projected install date of the Friday before the Superbowl.
My wife gave me a budget of $15,000 for everything...tax, install, etc.
    What do you think?...

    B&W FPM Series

Well I guess I going to have to head something up on these speakers. The lack of reviews, and information on these speakers is amazing especially when they are such good speakers. I did a search for "FPM" on this site and many other and came up with almost nothing (absolutely nothing on this...

Just got FPM 4s for surounds

No one ever posts about the FPM series, so thought I would in case someone is considering them or is curious. I am using FPMs for a full HT setup and went from 601 S3 to get there.

I was using FPM 6s for my mains, a FPM 4 for the centre and had two 601s left from my last set up I was...

    Floor stand for FPM-2
    by Wedlock
    Hello,

Apparantly within the FPM-range of B&W, there is no such thing as a floor stand for the FPM-2. B&W offers floor stands for the other (larger) models, but if I'd use those for the FPM-2, it would mean a piece of the stand would remain visible which is not really that nice....
