I need a stereo amplifier

Hi all
I have bought 803D2 and Marantz 8802a with Ati 1803 amp
I am 30% Movies and 70% Music
And now I need your advice
I want to buy a stereo amplifier
But I have to choose between 3 amplifiers
1- ROTEL RB 1590
2- Ati 6002
3- Parasound Halo A21

I would be hard pressed to pick a better amp to match with the B&W speakers , unless a Halo was the other choice. B&W speakers are current hungry and soak up amperes like a sponge , and Rotel's synergy with them is almost legendary. But. The Parasound Halo amps are a cut above , IMO. Absolutely nothing wrong with the Rotel , just that last little bit of right with the Halo. ATI makes good amps , but I haven't heard them yet. Sig Linkwitz uses them , and that's nothing to sneeze at. http://www.linkwitzlab.com/sys_test.htm If possible I would compare the Rotel and Halo side by side , and in your system would be even better. I'm not sure where you're located , but if you can find a B & W retailer there is a good chance they'll have some Rotel gear laying around , and maybe some Parasound as well.

I used Parasound gear with my 802's for years, as Alaric mentioned, B&Ws love current, can't go wrong with any of the models you mentioned. But I love the John Curl designed Halo stuff!

I've got an RB-1090 and love it with my 683's. Had the 1080 before and RSX-1058 before that. The 1090 was definitely the king of the Rotel 10 series. So you can't go wrong with its successor, the 1590.
