The 802 looks smaller and like they have "turned" it so it is facing backwards allowing for a much slimmer design. love the new white models.. -
but hang on - no 800 model ??????????? at least not on their website.. and not sure I think the DB1 will match well with the new lookComment

Based on the pictures I have seen 802s lost the masculine presence with the slimmer look and rounder plinth.
I think the 805s and 804s don't look too bad for what they are. Rumored pricing on the other hand... Maybe I am being too harsh... Guess I should leave final judgement until I see them in person..
In the other thread it was mentioned the new 800s will be out next year.B&W

I listened today at my dealer to SSP-800, CA-5300, 804Di, DB1 + HTM4Di centre and 805Di surrounds. Sources were CDP-202 over analogue and Arcam blu-ray over digital.
Really couldn't pick between the CDP-202 and SSP-800 DACs. Listening to opening of Mahler 8 which is dense with voices... -
Finally went diamond. I considered the new D3 804's but they don't go on sale in the US till January, plus I was already in love the 805 D's. Couldn't wait :B 805' plus a DB1 is more expensive than a pair of 804's but the bass extension is worth it. I matched them with a McIntosh MAC 6700 200 watt... -
A question for people with DB1 along with 804Ds.
What settings do you use for them when listening to music and movies?
I'm using with mono XLR input from Classe CP-800 pre-amp. Using the DB1 pre-set low-pass filter to match the 804D then the sub is very quiet at 0db and... -
Given the number of piecemeal threads floating around regarding the SSP-800 I felt it would be more useful to consolidate the information we currently know about the upcoming processor into a dedicated thread. I believe it would facilitate better record keeping as more information... -
Here is a new sub that B&W is intoducing. Sounds pretty awesome!
I think B&W is tired of losing sales to the likes of JL Audio and Velodyne.
