Mac30 a good match for 805s?

    Mac30 a good match for 805s?

    Hey all -long time no here!
    I have been enjoying my system for a while now
    I ran across a gent that wants to trade a set of Mac30's for some labor. Will they run or be an improvement on my 705's.
    I am currently running them on a dedicated stereo music only channel on my Denon 2808CI so that would be the pre. It will also handle the subs so bass extension is not an issue
    There are two holes in Daddy's head where all the money goes.

      805 or 705?
      I don't know about that particular Mac, but a Mac did wonders for my Nautilus 805. However, the Denon will really be a bottleneck.

          Realy? Why? Because it's a Dig. amp? Or because of the model? I have always been impressed with the DAC,s on this thing.
