I own a pair of B&W CMW 500 in wall speakers-- had them for about 7 years, no problem but found out that sound does not come out at low volume recently unless I tap once on the front grid-- anyone had that problem????

I was thinking of using 5x CMW 7.3 and 2x CMW 7.4 but i saw that i can buy Signature 8NT inwall speakers for the same price.
Anybody knows how they compare?
