I am in need of help in choosing new surround speakers for my 5.1 HT setup. I currently have 601's as my rears however my better half does not find them very pleasing to the eye on stands behind the seating area. She is also not keen on mounting big black boxes on the walls either.
I have searched the forum trying to find different pairings with the 602's and have come up with the M1's, and I think DS3 or DS6 can't quite remember (although this won't solve my box on the wall problem, it may be less intrusive).
In looking for info on B and W inwalls I was not able to find much, but from what I have found, the CWM 650 or CWM 500 looks to be possible considerations.
I guess my questions are:
1) Which speaker would provide the best sound/match well with my 602's?
2) Do I need to stay in the B and W family when looking at surrrounds?
3) Are inwalls really that bad?
I would really appreciate any insight the members could provide.
