    B&W 683 and Denon AVR-2808

    I heard this combo today and I was blown away. My friend Andy asked for a demo as i was picking up my 802Ds from my dealer.

    The dynamics and resolution of the Denon 2808 and B&W 683 combination today was totally astounding considering the price! I am sure that this is due to the FST driver, but the clean and powerful delivery from the Denon in Pure Direct made these speakers sing. Bold and powerful and yet subtile and delicate.

      Is there any difference between the AVR 988 and 2808 CI? From the spec, they are pretty much the same. Both are 110Wx7 with Dobly true HD. I can't find AVR 988 on Denon web site, I am wonder if they called it a different model only.
