    Advice required - 600S4 or CM1

    I everyone.

    I currently have 601S3 speakers. I would like to upgrade to either the 685 or CM1 speakers. My local shop is stocking the 685 speakers at £380 and the CM1's at £500.

    How much 'better' is the CM1 over the 685? I presume their performance must be similar as much of the cost difference in the CM1 is in the better quality cabinet materials?

    The CM series appear to be very similarly priced to the top of the range 600 series? Has anyone compared the CM7 to the new FST loaded 683 speakers?

    I will have to listen to these speakers for myself soon, I just wondered what other forum members think.
