Please point me some leads to get good price on the inwall B&W speakers. I'm looking for 8 pairs of CWM-650, 1 pr of CWM8180, and 1 Sig 8NT. Many thanks for your lead.

other than Century, Future Sound in Burlinggame, PRAXIS SYSTEM DESIGN in Hayward, and couple more Fremont also carry B&W. I bought most of my premount kits from Century and Future Sound. Have not discuss on the speakers price with them yet. If you get a good deal on any of these stores, then I just go there instead driving around town.

i have searched and found that several people have posted questions about modifying one of the existing projects to work as in inwall. the issue seems to be the depth limitation and i saw mentioned that if you had a 2x6 it would be much better. common practice for building a theater today is to use... -
I need some inwall and inceiling speakers. A guy at a local shop recommended some MTX 810cms, which I have never heard of before, but he says they are great.
I love the B&W's, but they are pretty expensive, The top of the line B&W's go for $1700 each and then the next step down go for... -
I know you can never get the sound outa inwalls that you can a well built box. But, sometimes thats the best option available. Has anyone else thought about doing some inwall speakers using these?

I was thinking about building my Modula MT inwall boxes.
Has anyone compared MDF with fibre cement sheets for building the boxes?
As the in wall boxes will be thin box vibration will be a big issue I guess.
