Has any one tried the Lamm 1.2 Ref Amps with 800Ds or 800 series? Just wondering how they match up. They are only 110 watts but all class A and are a hybrid design.

How does everyone feel about the finish options of the 800 series? Rosenut is gorgeous but quite difficult to match. Cherry is nice, but if you have dark wood or walnut furniture (as many do), it clashes. Personally, I love the color of walnut and wish the new 800 series came in a walnut veneer.... -
Does anybody know if, and with what Bowers and wilkins will fill the gap between the CM and 800 series?
I like the CM series sound, except the treble, a bit harsh and metalic compared to the treble in the old 800 S speakers. I think there is a very big jump both in price and performance... -
Now that the 800 series has moved to the Di series, it is becoming much harder to find the older models. I am sure, like me, many people are still needing certain speakers to complete their setup and aren't interested in the Di series. Sometime in the future I am probably going to upgrade my surround speakers to either the DSM8's or SCM8's. I may even go with a lower model (like the 700 series) but for the sake of this discussion I am wondeirng about the 800 series models in question.
