Thoughts on Bryston SP1.7 pre for my 803D system?

Hi,

I currently have the 803D & HTM2D combo.

I am thinking of using the following:

Bryston SP1.7
Bryston 6B SST or 3x 7B SST

Not sure on the DVD yet, however marantz is currently sitting number 1.

I had a bryston SP2. It is supposed to be substantially better than the SP1.7. I would say the SP2 was just ok.

classe ssp-600 with a ca-3200 amp coming soon. far more musical than the bryston. The bryston is fine for HT, but isn't near as good for music as its hyped to be.
