Can't believe the article doesn't even mention that B & W has made a speaker for many years that looks like this. "it was an odd, nautilus shape that really defies description"....No it would be easy to describe it as blatant ripoff of a speaker that another manufacturer makes. -
I wouldn't doubt that they reversed engineered the real thing; and came up with this monstrosity. The sad thing is some hapless soul will wind up buying that ugly thing, further fueling the China Faux industry. :MOriginally posted by BigBlue1974Comment

Funny thing, I seen those on Ebay a couple of weeks ago and the guy couldnt even get a starting bid on them. I emailed the guy who wrote the article and let him know what they really were, cheap knockoffs.Robert P. 8)
