    Blew a brand new ASW 750 earlier this week...

    Demo'd the 750 for two days and I killed it! Ugh. Trickly digital amp...

    So, after determining that my taste for deep lows and high volume was not aligned to the musicality of the 750 I purchased and just set up a Sunfire True Subwoofer EQ Signature unit. Added it to the following set-up:

    B&W 703's - Front
    B&W 602 S3's - Rear
    B&W 600 series center
    B&W ASW600 - sub
    Rotel Amp
    Yamaya Preamp

    The Sunfire is amazing - so deep, gutteral... Got it crossed over at 60 and below. The B&W sub is 60+ (up to 80).

    Btw, my dealer, treated me very well in this case, the 750 was under warranty and we decided upon going with the Sunfire. These things are amazing.

          Apparently a little too much Massive Attack - Angel, and a substantial amount of volume... Oh, and a Line In vs. Line out switch/tweaking mistake. :-)

          Too much going in... Store has seen two amp's in the 750 go from usage like mine. Not so good... I should have been more careful.

              The true here was the Line in vs line out declaration! Right!!!!!

                  Has anyone traded in their ASW-750 for either the ASW-850 or ASW855?
                  Was it worth it? I'm not sure if I'm going to do it until I hear from someone that has done it. I know there are other subs out there that are cheaper and maybe better, so for all the SVS group etc....I justwant to know about...
