B&W 800 D series and Krell evolution series

Per Krell's site, they were supposed to have been shipped on April 2006.
What is technically different about them ? are they supposed to sound different then the FPB series ? I hope they produce less heat in the room and more warmth in the music.. :lol:

I saw them at the dealer in Boston when I was there in June. We didn't listen to them, but I have spoken to those who have. I am not particularly a krell fan, but for the people who feel the krell sound is bright, or forward, the new line is supposed to create a more smooth sound. they are really pricey and pretty big.

The Audio Revolution website yesterday announsed that krell is shipping now the EVO amps!

Someone who had listened to Krell EVO amps, pré and player could tell how it sounds??? Does it have really the smooth and sweet top end with the same old bass slam??
