OK, this isn't related to B&W but I figure that most B&W owners, particularly those in the 800 series are dedicated / passionate / addicted enough to high end audio that they wouldn't find it odd to consider spending a few thousand on an FM tuner.
So, does anyone have any experience with the Magnum Dynalab MD108 tuner? I've got an FT-101A right now which I quite like. But Dad's looking to upgrade his tuner which kinda gives me the excuse I need to give him mine and then buy a better MD tuner for myself.
I love the sound that my FT-101A tuner delivers. I listen to local (Toronto) stations and when paired with my N802 I just can't complain about the sound. But there's always that little nagging doubt - is the MD108 really that much better?
Does anyone know from first-hand experience?
