    ISO - Magnum Dynalab

OK, this isn't related to B&W but I figure that most B&W owners, particularly those in the 800 series are dedicated / passionate / addicted enough to high end audio that they wouldn't find it odd to consider spending a few thousand on an FM tuner.

So, does anyone have any experience with the Magnum Dynalab MD108 tuner? I've got an FT-101A right now which I quite like. But Dad's looking to upgrade his tuner which kinda gives me the excuse I need to give him mine and then buy a better MD tuner for myself.

I love the sound that my FT-101A tuner delivers. I listen to local (Toronto) stations and when paired with my N802 I just can't complain about the sound. But there's always that little nagging doubt - is the MD108 really that much better?

Does anyone know from first-hand experience?

    Distance between speakers and amp
    by Ut Pictura
We have just moved house - I have my Rotel RA-03 and B&W 603s in my room - but due to space considerations cannot put them the usual way - one on each side with amp in middle.
The Rotel amp and cd player (and Magnum Dynalab tuner) are in a closed wooden cabinet I made especially for them...

    Magnum PI
    by Lex
I picked up the Magnum PI Season 1 DVD last weekend. It was a fun retrospective. I know, some of the acting is bad by supporting actors, but I enjoyed the bantor between Magnum and Higgins, and the Hawaii scenery along with a sprinkling of T and A makes it not a bad ride. Oh,did I mention the Ferrari?...

    Hello,

On of the projects I've been working on with my new HTPC is "backing-up" up DVD's and home movies to DVD I am burning. I have a few dozen .iso files which I understand is an image fileof the DVD. However, my DVD player won't read this. Using DVDShrink or another program...

    ISO: a good multi-format player
    by jclyle
    Hey-
Im ISO a decent player that can handle CD, DVD-A, SACD & anything else. I have a Musical Fidelity A3 DAC so I only need something that can act as a transport, but not something cheap from a big-box retailer. It would be great if one had coax & AES/EBU outputs. Units with a silver...
