B&W 2000 series
Hi All,
my first post here , hope i'm not out of place here with my old 2000 series . maybe one day i'll be able to upgrade to nautilus status speakers.
well what i'm posting about is that i've come across a second hand set of B&W'S 2001 and 2003 speakers that need some restoration . previous owner did'nt look after them to well . i decided to buy them due that i 've had a pair of 2004,s since 1991 and absalutly love the sound that comes out of them and thought that adding the other models would be a good thing.
Anyway the 2001,s need new tweeters due to someone putting a hole through one and crushing the other. But they still sound half decent . the 2003 ,s have a different problem, both speakers have loose front baffles and need them to be re-set back in place. the drivers on the 2003,s don't seem to have any problems but they don't sound half as good as the 2001,s with the stuffed up tweeters.hopefully it's just the loose baffles that is causing them to sound not so good and nothing else.
Doe's anyone know where i can get hold of repair manuals for these?
