    HELP ASW800 Setup

    Just got it (ASW800) cheap to match my Matrix 804 & Matrix HTM.My amp is Yahaha RX V2500.Need help and instruction how to hook/set up that sub.
    Also should it make humming/buzzing noise ?????
    Guys,I have no idea about low phase,cross over and so on.So please be patient and explain.

      Hey, I know nothing about your sub but a hum is not a good thing. It can be caused by a few things. Crossing your Sub input with your power cables is one, or you could have a problem with the ground wire of your house. I was getting a hum from my Martin Logan sub, my computer speakers and my (believe it or not) my alarm clock. All due to ground wire for my house not being set up properly. Do you have your manual? If not print it from here.

          I am using my ASW800 with N804s, Rotel equip: RCC-1055, RC-1070, RB-1070. My ASW crossover is set @ 50 Hz, volume at about 12 o'clock. I have it hooked up with MonsterBass 400 cables (2) from my pre using the second set of pre outs. EQ switch is set to A. I am very satisfied with the results. My next upgrade probably will be my amp.
