I cannot get the on screen display to show up on my tv screen so i can change the settings on my reciever to coincide with my components. I am stumped I do what the manual tells you to do but nothing shows up. Anybody out their encounter this problem?

My Marantz SR7200 (Recent purchase - second hand) is performing superbly - (replaced an SR96) apart from an annoying habit of switching off while watching TV - ie when TV is providing audio input. I am at a loss as to where to turn for a solution. Can anyone help please? -
Well, it's been almost 2 months now that I've lived with both my Rotel RSP1098 and my Parasound C2 and the time for deciding which I'm going to keep is almost at hand.(not that I HAVE to decide now for some reason, but I'd hate to end up with 2 processors permanently)
