b&w N 801?

    b&w N 801?

    Last week I find A pair used B&W N 801.and A pair N 802.The 802 was 7/10 $5000 private sell.N 801 9/10 was $6200 (shop demo.) (rest my speaker are N 804 and HTM1.)I bought 801.Did I made a good decision?I have about 10 grand to burn.What kind amp and pre amp shall I buy?I am think buy some used amp and pre amp.any common?

      based on your title, does b&w help? probably not mine anyways.. heh

      If you have the space, you made a good choice. most people don't have the space to accomodate that speaker.

      I would probably go McIntosh amp for those speakers.. preamp would be a toss-up... but probably the anthem statement...
      I'm just sittin here watchin the wheels go round and round...

          Ive been a happy owner for 6 years now to a pair of N801. They will need a good amount of power to come alive, I use ML 333.5 and can recommend it for its neutrality and for its musicality.

              hi, I'm surprised to see that there's no mention of N801 on this forum but alot of 802. Currently I own the N801 and am driving it with rotel 1090 with Nordost red dawn cables. Very neutral and fast sound albeit a bit lean in the bass department, due to Nordost? Any comments or recommendations, thanks....
