I want to up grade my 5.1 system to a 7.1 and am having a hard time with the cost of B&W DS8S. My past auditioning has led me away from B&W for my center channel speaker and I went with a Definitive Tech because of the much fuller sound. I'm thinking on the same lines for the dipole or bipolar side surround upgrade. Does anyone using the Definitive Tech for side surrounds? My center channel Definitive Tech 2500 works well with my CDM7SE fronts and CDM1SE rears in my present 5.1 system.

I think I would like my next equipment upgrade to be side surround speakers and I would like some opinions. I'm leaning towards the DS8S however I'm not to thrilled with the cost for a wall mounted speaker. Also I wish it had at least the same range as my rear speakers. Is this speaker brand new?
