    CDM 1SE - To Bi-wire or Not?

I have a set of CDM SE speakers which I'm going to power with a B&K AVR507. The CDM 7SEs and the CDM CSE will be bi-wired with Audioquest Type 6 wire, but due to real world issues, I cannot run 35 feet (under carpet) of Type 6 wire to my rear CDM 1SEs -- at least not if I want to stay married. So, I have bought the Audioquest flat wire which has four internal wires and should be bi-wirable (or at least I think it is). And no, I cannot lay 2 cables to each speaker to beef up the gauge of the cable. So there's a 35 foot run to each rear speaker of this flat wire -- do I bi-wire or not? Of course, when it comes down to it, I'll probably try it both ways and see if I can hear a difference (but it will be a pain in the _ss), but I'm wondering if anyone else has used this wire in this manner. Thanks, and glad to have found this forum (along with the B&K forum!).

    So planned set up...

    Bi wire question

My speakers are a pair of 802N. They are biwireable.

I tried out a pair of Harmonic Tech Pro 9 speaker cables (mono wire) in my system and was impressed at the improvement. Harmonic Tech make a biwire version (which they tell me is superior to the mono version).

    I can...

    Bi wire experiences

This is not so much a cable post as a hook up post, although I am sure the mods will make the call.

I've run 804s for about 4 or 5 years now and probably will keep them for a while yet. A friend commented recently that I have the most tweaked system he has seen and it certainly is right...

2 vs 4 wire speaker cable

I have decided I want to upgrade my current Audioquest speaker wire, I think it may be my speaker wire causing some harsh sound from my speakers. I listened to a pair of B&W 802d's today with Transparent speaker cable and was able to hear a difference. Of course there speaker wire was about 10 inches...

I've got some 16ga multistrand Audioquest wire that is already in the walls and run to a plate on the wall.I plan on building the RS28a/RS225's for surrounds (four altogether). I'll power each pair of them with the Behringer A500.Two A500's total, this will cover the sidesurrounds and two ES back channels....
