I've been trying to get onto Widescreen Review's web site for a couple of days and keep getting "Page Not Found" errors. Did they go under? I really hope not.
Is Widescreen Review Gone?

Hi, Tex.
After reading your post I tried a visit and the page came up without any trouble. Maybe their server was done for awhile. Boy, you scared me there for awhile. WSR is my favorite HT magazine.- Bottom

Yeah, I checked it too, it's up. Here's what happens typically.
1. Widescreen Review office closes on Friday.
2. Saturday, the server locks up, while everyone is at home.
3. nobody checks it until...
4. Monday morning they go oh sh..! The site is down.
5. Monday morning maybe even west coast time, the site is back up.

It seems that when a site is restructuring, reindexing, reloading data or being accessed by more than 5 people on Sundays when there's a three-quarter-full moon, :>) the "Page Not Found" message pops up. I ran into that alarming condition a couple of days ago when trying to access my bank's online site. Fortunately, a try a bit later gave me access, just as it has for you with Widescreen Review. I have a feeling we'd hear seismic rumblings from a certain projector reviewer of our acquaintance if Widescreen Review really were to fold. :>)

Celebrating its 70th anniversary, the studio that currently owns Gone with the Wind has released it on BluRay in a multiple-disc special collector's edition that includes a ton of extras (well, at least a couple of pounds of extras, some printed, others on the addtional discs) in the oversized box,...-

by Andrew PrattI'll preface this rant upfront by saying that although I'm picking on Wal-Mart it applies equally to most of the big stores I've been into but since I'm at Wal-Mart everymorning I see it going on there more then anywhere else.
I have come to dread walking into wal-mart most mornings now... - Loading...
