Totem Kin or PSB subwoofer? Please help!

I am looking for a subwoofer under 700$. I found this PSB subwoofer on Bay Bloor ( https://baybloorradio.com/index.php?...roduct_id=2020 ). Has anyone used this sub before? How does it sound? Will the Totem Kin subwoofer be better than this?

In your price range the SVS PB-1000 or SB-1000 found at the following link http://www.sonicboomaudio.com/box-su...ttus4ctr29v530 will perform better than your two stated choices.

I bought the PB-2000 from them (one up from the 1000 series, but outside your stated price range). Delivery was prompt. I've had zero issues in 13 months of usage and would buy another one in a heartbeat if I needed one. If you are in the Toronto area, I believe you can save on shipping and pick it up locally (though I might be misremembering that fact). In any case, there are a number of high performance internet direct subwoofers available (SVS, HSU Research, PSA, Axiom, among others) but only SVS and Axiom are available through internal mail within Canada (the others require clearing customs via a broker, which can be a pain). At least this was the case as of last summer. Axiom's line up does not include a sub in your price range that can match the SVS in performance (IMO), so for most "bang for the buck", I recommend the SVS from sonic boom audio. (I went through this research from Nov. 2013 to June 2014). Whatever you decide to get, though, good luck and enjoy.

          Hi,

I have this puzzling question when I look at the physicl shapes of the speakers from Silverline Audio and Totem Acoustics. They resemble each other very very closely. Silverline Audio has speakers (Sonata III, Sonatina III, Bolero, Reference 15 ) that very very closely resemble...

          Improving PSB Alpha A/V?
          by BretH
I have my sights set on building a set of Modula MTs, using the PE enclosures if I really need to, but that is going to have to wait a while. In the meantime is there anything I can do to improve the sound of my PSB Alphas?

I am happy with the sound of them, but I don't have anything...

I am in the process of selecting components and speakers for a new HT. I haven't selected a 7.1 processor yet, but am thinking of the following setup:

          Room - 19' x 15' x 8.5' (converted 2-car garage well sound insulated)
          (2) RMB1075 total 10 channels 200W per into 4 ohms

Any feedback on the Monitor Radius Speakers and Totem Accoustic would be appreciated
          by ibluetooth
          Hey all,

I'm looking at putting together a non intrusive 5.1 Surround sound speaker package for my media room. I think that I've pretty much narrowed it down to two choices: Monitor Radius R270 (Fronts), R90 (Rears), R180 (Centre) and R360 (Sub)

          or

          Totem...
