Schell Shocked....A year in the making!,Updated

    Hi Everybody!,,

After a long period of time and some
    strategically planned upgrades the Schell

    Added to the room were:
    -4 surround ADP speakers.
    -Two Parasound Seperate Amplifiers.
    -6 foot tall equipment rack.
    -New HT signs and plaques.
    -Computer corner office desk.
    -Large aquarium.
    -Console game center.
    -Fireplace.

The Schell Shocked webpage has been updated
    with it's new look.

Let me know what you think!

    Thanks,

Completion? Are you feeling alright? We all know that you'll be upgrading again within 90 days!

Maybe your website should have a live webcam to your theater so you don't have to update the site everytime you upgrade something.

I lie the live cam idea...much less work for joey One thing I was surprised at though it looks like you have a normal door to the basement? I figured with the constant flow of gear in and out you'd have a revolving door there

All kidding aside you've put together one hell of the setup Trevor

Wow! Very comfortable looking room. How do you like your speakers? I had Paradigm for awhile and loved them.
What I want to know is why does everybody with great home theaters live so far away? I want to come make a nuisance of myself.

What I want to know is, is that a digital or analog fireplace?

Nice looking HT, but as far as holding pat, you do know about the moderator's mandantory upgrade clause, right? Yup, if your a Mod, you must set the example and upgrade every 6 months, whether you need to or not.

Sweet Trev, what a FUN room!

I think 40% of Canada's GNP is within Trev's HT setup.

I finally got to see your updated site, Trev. Looks sweet! A bit of overkill perhaps (2 DVD players? 2 VCRs? 4 subs? And how many TVs/monitors did I see in there? I think I lost count). If I came over with a disc in hand, I'd have trouble figuring out which player to put it in! :B

I was wondering, though, with the subs on opposite sides of the room, don't you get nulls that way? I've always heard it's better to put both/all subs together, say in one corner, so all the waves are coming from one direction.

So when are you putting in a front projector?

                          Thanks,

                          Kevin,,There are three TV's.

The 61" is for the satelitte veiwing.
The 27" TAU is for the gaming consoles
The 24" TAU is for the DVD camcorder as well as the DVD on my
                          new Computer.

The second DVD Player (Panasonic RP-91)is for the Playback of The DVD-Ram comcorder sdiscs on the 61" screen

The extra satelittes are for CDN SAT,,+Hi-Def.
The Dual VCRs allow for recording on the various DSS systems.

The subs sound great,,not sure if frequencies are cancelling..It all just sounds so good that I always get a nice smile on my face everytime I start her up.

It's been a year and a half now since we moved to our new house. Unfortunately my Webpage has been outdated since then.
Anyways I have some newer pics to show how I have set-up the basement to include the Home Theater area as well as a Lobby and Library. These pics are not...
