I just decided to sign up with Columbia House after receiving one of their special mailings.
Since I don't have a huge library of DVD's, I was able to come across quite a few titles that I would want to order.
Basically the deal was 5 DVD's for 1 cent a peice plus the first selection for $14.95 CDN.
Then buy only 3 more in the next 2 years.
This suited me fine so I signed up.

They're great for someone trying to build up their dvd collection, but after you meet your obligation,the bonus deal sucks. I also found that their titles were way overpriced compared to what I would pay at local sources. Remember, you're paying extra for mailing and handling as well, and this adds to the cost of the title.Other than that, they offer pretty good service, though sometimes you get a title you didn't order.

Good luck canceling trevor...that is unless thye have changed their ways. I was in CH for CD's several years ago and even after completeing the deal they still kept hounding me. Still its a pretty good deal if to cancel after the first three

Well the reason I asked for about 3 months now I have been using a code that gives you about 7 DVD for about $70 bucks at CH . So $10 bucks a shot pretty good I think . I pick 5 upfront then have to by 2 more in 2 yrears .
So I was just wondering if anybody would like to have the code or the wep site ?Comment

Why wait to cancel. I've known someone who calls them up cancels and signs back up to get the 5 for 5 cent deal on the same call.

I signed up and when I fullfilled my obligation, I quit. Even factoring in the 5 DVD's for $.01, the average price came to like a million dollars per DVD :B. Ok maybe $30.
The CD offer is the better deal, but faggetaboutit for the DVD's
