    HP to introduce a DVD+RW drive for consumers

    CNET has the article about this drive.

    This is pretty interesting. Looks like it will comepete with the Pioneer Drive.

    What I want to know is what kind of software is bundled with each drive and how good is it?

    At $600 this is expensive and will be aimed at the early adopter. However, when compared to something like a digital vcr perhaps it's not that far out of line. Question is...can you program your computer to timeshift your favorite TV shows?

      Kenny, I know of no program that can programed to time shift a PC, but that's not to say it isn't out there. I would almost bet there is...

      Anybody have a link?
