    WOW!

Gentlemen and lady(s), I am impressed, I just noticed that we have 90 users online at 7:15. I think with 324 members, 90 members online at once just at the forum is very impressive! You guys and gal(s) are what makes htguide what it is, and I thank you for that.

Also, there were 47 members surfing the Guide main page. All told that's nearly 140 user sessions. Granted a few people might have the Guide open in one window and the forum in another, but hey, we ain't complainin' at all!

Sometimes, I don't think I say it enough, so there, I said it. Thank you folks! :B

I am noticing that we have 5 or so hot periods a day, folks checking in. It's very interesting for me to watch the traffic flow! Generally, they run around 7:30-8:30 AM, 12-1 PM, again at 3-4 PM, 7-8 PM, and 11:00-12:30.

        It's ok Lex, it's actually a compliment:

        E-Excellent
        E-Energetic
        K-Kewl

So you see, it's like code for "I wish I was as hip, smart, full of life, and kewl like you" type of compliment!

        E...it's all good!

Haha, I admit it, I am a geek. Ok, not your average geek. I mean, I don't carry a mechanical pencil and one of those pen holders anymore. hehe. But I do have one!

Thanks Erik, I like this guy! :B

Hmmm, 62 users at 9:00 AM. So much for my theory, lol. 68 at 10:11, lol.

George, thanx It's been said, be careful what you wish for, and there probably is some truth to that. I never want HTGuide to get so large and impersonal that we loose our comradalry. However, some people just have a knack at keeping things more personal even with growth. Maybe our staff and I fall into that category. Mats does when he's around. He's just not that visible post wise. Which is ok, he has his role and I have mine. Tell me again, what is it I am supposed to be doing? lol.

I come to this site a lot and read, not a big poster. Every once in a while I can actually answer a question. This is one of my usual morning and afternoon stops on the net.

I sure like the fact that there seems to be a far amount of members here that use planner speakers.

hehe, thanks Erik, Paul for the numbers. Unfortunately, through some occurance, the addition of the counter made our admin control panel not work. Now normally, I don't use it that often, but when a member needs a password, I got to have it. So, Mats had to turn the counter off until he can figure a work around.

I really enjoyed it, so I hope we can get it back.

Wow, 45 at that hour is incredible. What time zone Paul? All my times are based on EST. So 12:00 noon here is like 8-9 on west coast.

Was wondering where the counter went to.

                                Those would be PST times.

Yeah, I have no idea as to the correlation between the counter and the admin menu, but apparently they are joined at the hip, lol.

We take something away, but working on something new, well, I am anyway.

                                      Hi Guys,

Long time no read much, this is my first day off in about a month and a half!

Good to see the activity and all the friendly monikers (no faces, per se! )

Now, if I can just find some time to watch a movie... at least I can say I've been working on some audio stuff for a change; Thomas and I have been putzing around with his Stryke sub project. All is not happy in mudville; the sonics didn't please me yesterday, and some of the reasons are becoming clear after some measurements today- for example, the free air Fs for the HE-15's he recieved was 32 Hz, not 26 Hz. The suggested tuning results in a fairly peaky output from the PR, but centered at 18 Hz, with almost nothing from the PR's above 25. It's a beautiful driver; the question is, what is the best way to use it's strengths? And what are it's most important strengths? I'm doubting that tuning for maximum output below 20 Hz is the way to go with this puppy.

                                      Regards,

                                      Jon
