Movie Viewing Habits ?

How many movies do you watch per week ? Under normal circumstances (not during hockey playoffs) I watch 4 titles a week. I've been retired 4 1/2 months now and I really thought I'd be watching more movies than ever, but this didn't happen. I find my viewing time hasn't really changed.

Do you vary what you watch ?
I usually go for at least one drama, one comedy and the rest popcorn movies. But this isn't a hard and fast rule.Depends on the mood I'm in at the time.

I guess I watch a few more than you George. 42 for me.

LOL, had ya going. Seriously, I would guess I average 10. I always watch at least 1 per day. Sometimes, I get through half another movie as well. Last night I watched part of a TV movie on Marilyn Monroe, or Norma Jean if you will. Then I watched most of Animal House, for a laugh. I mean Belushi's antics so funny! I wonder what would have happened with him had he still been alive? Big star? Dropout?

I usually watch my action adventure movie as the main feature, then fill in late night with Comedy and romance. I find I like to end on a lighter note. I think it relaxes the mind for sleep. Mindless enjoyment, that's what I want late night.

Of course, for first time films, it's more dedicated viewing. Repeat performances are usually multi-tasked. As in online, and watching bits and pieces.

Yeah, you did have me going. After I read 42 I thought to myself, WOW! Where does he find the time? 10 a week is pretty good. I want to try and increase my viewing. I have 8 titles sitting on the rack I haven't watched as yet. There are also many older titles I really want to revisit as well. It isn't as if I don't have the time these days, though with weather improving, I'll have to get at the yardwork.

Don't worry Andrew, I'm with ya on the underachieving part. If I see 1 a week, I'm happy. And it's more like 1 every 2 weeks.

I watch about two a week on average. It seems that I go in spurts. I can go a few weeks w/o watching any DVDs and then I'll watch several in a few days time.

I'm glad Paul answered first. If I watch 2 I consider it a good week. A lot of it depends on my work schedule. More if I'm working regular days maybe none for a month while I work nights. (nights really take it out of me).

I'd say I watch 4 or 5 a week
I notice my hadits have changed alittle bit, I seem to hunt my DVD collection for "mindless fun" titles more than I used to, in fact I bought Godzilla (1998) today because I just don't have enough of them.
I run from one end of the movie category to the other, if it's interesting I'll watch it.

I ususaly watch about 5 a week.
I prefer sci-fi, and action/adventure.

I try to keep two un viewed movies in my rack at all times. If I watch one tonight, I buy one tomorrow. Doesn't allways work out that way though.
