A new song for my Various Artists Greatest Hits private label CD when I produce it!!!

This may be my best work ever. I'll label it as such for now.

Post Production editing was pretty significant.

Led Zeppelin Dancing Days All parts by me. Doug

Your next assignment , Mr. Phelps , should you decide to accept it....How do you feel about the Blues? Here's one from the Hammer Of the Gods. You're on a roll , my friend. :T I've seen Jimmy Page use a Jack Daniels bottle as a slide , if that helps. They hadn't performed as a band with a Bonham on the drums since 1980. Live Aid had Phil Collins rippin' the skins. Not bad for a bunch of old guys. You should give this one a shot.
That's Jason Bonham on the drums , BTW. 2007 tribute to Ahmet Ertegun , the man who signed Led Zeppelin to Atlantic Records in 1968. He also signed Kid Rock. The man never lost his nose for hitmakers.

And since we've got Doug on a roll , maybe we can talk him in to a 1959 Fender Telecaster and a violincello bow. I'm liking his guitar work lately and think we should encourage Doug to stretch it out. :B

As much as that song is Page's showpiece , I always felt John Paul Jones bass keeps it moving in a coherent direction and really drives the song.

The band was such a great group effort. Page's guitar and Plant's vocals had all the flash and excitement , but they were all great musicians that had a synergy together that made the sum greater than the already great parts. Without a traditional rhythm guitarist , it was left to Jones and John Bonham to provide the musical stage Page's guitars and Plant's vocals danced on , while still shining in their own right.

I got a little wordy there , but I always thought they were taken for granted by many due to Led Zep's constant presence. A lot of popular bands have ridden the wave of different types of music to success , Led Zeppelin was the wave. They shaped rock n roll and left a permanent mark on it. That's a pretty big accomplishment for four guys in a band for ten years.
