    LaserDisc Question

    What is the native screen resolution - NTSC, not PAL - for LaserDisc? I know it's better than VHS, but is it as high as DVD?

      try this site for some detailed info on laserdiscs...but to answer your question VHS comes in at 230 horizontal lines, Lasers at 430 and DVD tops the scale at 540

          Andrew is correct. Trouble is, once you get used to dvd resolution, laserdisc just doesn't satisfy. But it sure beats vhs.
