    Wireless technology for audio?

Hey all, I'm having this debate on Facebook with a friend of mine about wireless technology. It appears that some are afraid of it and there's now a petition going around to try and stop our power company from installing wireless meters on homes, claiming that the 'frequencies' are dangerous. Personally, I think that is a crock of S**T !!.

What I would like is your opinion on is the potential use of wireless technology for home theater applications. Right now, it appears that there is a sonic compromise to it's use but, I believe that in the future that will go away. You must admit that it would be soooo nice to position speakers and components and have everything done and accomplished without wires no??!!.

Right now, I have a stereo wireless headset that I use to listen to music outside off my phone and I must say, it meets or exceeds most in ear wired headsets I've heard. Wireless technology will only get better right?. Hell, I bet that one day, POWER will be able to be delivered wirelessly!!! :E

Didn't look at your profile. But the same thing is happening in BC. The province is switching over to wireless smart (power) meters. And everyone is freaking out. Ugh.

And that wireless technology is most likely like many other wireless systems that have been in place for many, many years.

That's my view on it. People just like to bitch for the sake of bitching. It's ridiculous. People complain about inaccurate power bills. Then companies try to fix it, and people still bitch. It's like bad roads. People hate bad roads and pot holes and all that, then bitch and moan about road construction. You never win lol.
