    Line Conditioner / Surge Protector

    Hey guys!

After many years of use, my Panamax 500 DBS died out on me. I was hoping you gents could recommend a good line conditioner/surge protector for my home theater system that is around $500 or less (I'll spend a little more if I must ).

I know that this budget does not allow me to have the best quality and protection, but I can't afford the high end products at the moment.

Here is what I need to plug into it:

    Classe 3200 Power amp
    Classe CDP-102 CD Player
    Classe SSP 600 Processor
Classe 6 channel power amp at 75 watts per channel
    Sony Playstation 3

    Thanks so much!
    Dave

Dave, I recommend the Brickwall line of protectors. I like them because they don't use sacrificial components (MOVs) which is a big thing here in the land of nasty power. Plus, it fits right in your financial window. Best of luck.

P.S. If you need a 20 amp unit look at the rack-mountable ones.

I like APC myself. Great units and even better customer service and support :T

I would recommend the APC H10 Power Conditioner! It has been a great unit, not to mention half the price as the so called best. I have had it for 3 years now with no problems. Great unit!

The Belkin PF60 doesn't regulate the voltage.

When I installed my APC i couldnt believe how much voltage fluctuated in my building. Seems to happen around the same time of day day. I have it set to "normal" (+ or - 10%). I actually surprised nothing shut off before I had something that regulates it.
