    soundcard upgrade

    Hi I have a soundblaster live 5.1 installed in my HTPC.

    I use this system to watch my DVD's listen to music and soon for blue ray playback.

    I am wondering if it is worth upgrading to a better card like the x-fi?

    I am connected with coax using SPDIF.

    I do all my decoding with my amp - Yamaha RX-V863.

    So if let do all the decoding will there really be a difference is sound quality with a newer soundcard?
